This was a first for the Kyokushin world. This weekend's Kyokushin-kan All-Japan Weight Category Tournament showcased a new set of official tournament rules for select Kyokushin-kan weight category tournaments only. Punches and elbow strikes to the head were legal for the first time ever in a Kyokushin tournament.
The Kyokushin Karate Association Zimbabwe and the Organising Committee have the honour to invite your National Karate Federation to participate in the 1st Hennie Bossman Kyokushin Karate Championships 2007 to be held on the 23rd June 2007 at the City Sports Centre in Harare Zimbabwe, Africa.
